About The Institute

Haddon Institute of Performing Arts is a brand-new college in custom designed studio spaces offering BTEC courses in performing arts.

H.I.P.A specialises in creating well rounded performers with knowledge in all areas of performing arts from singing, dancing and acting to set design, Stage Management & Circus skills giving performers everything they need for a future career within the industry.

We work with some of the country’s leading specialists as well as hosting various workshops throughout the year from visiting west end performers in shows such as Hamilton, Come From Away, Lion King and lots more.

Over your 2 years with us you will create theatre for community members, work with local schools on work experience projects, be the production team for a full-length musical, produce a musical review performance, create show reels, work with casting agents, complete audition preparation for university applications / casting opportunities and lots more all helping you create priceless memories that will last you a life time and prepare you for the performing arts industry.

We ensure a nurturing and loving environment for all our young people to ensure that their talent and their passion has the room to grow and develop.

Haddon School of Performing Arts has been creating outstanding performers for over 10 years and we are delighted to be able to offer further education opportunities for not only

our existing students but also to be welcoming in new students to our performing arts family.

Over the years our organisation has worked with hundreds of young people to help them realise their passion for performing arts and we are proud to say we have had many success stories along the way. Our organisation has many accreditations including being registered with the National Autistic Society as well as being voted as the most accessible performing arts provision in 2020 by Education and Training national awards.
